The Northeast Office of Regional School Improvement
Services offers coaches to affected school to help them comply with the Federal
No Child Left Behind Act. The Northeast Office of Regional School
Improvement Services Provides two types of coaching:
The Northeast Office of Regional School Improvement Services offers School
Improvement Facilitators (previously called District
Coaches) to priority
districts to help them comply with the Federal No Child Left Behind Act.
Regional School Improvement Facilitators
- Provide technical assistance to district leadership teams that builds District capacity
by using quality principals and practices to define and guide critical actions.
- Support and guide the development and implementation of School Improvement
Plans.
- Develop and introduce high quality professional development and resources.
- Facilitates the development of a partnership agreement that describes the
role of the district and RSIT regarding the implementation of professional
development and technical assistance services that align to the district
improvement plan.
In some cases, a school improvement facilitator assists the school district,
the supervising superintendent/administrator (school contact), and others in
coordinating the work of the building coaches. |
